Excessive load of laundry
The most common issue for our washer dryer combos is excessive load of laundry. Sometimes washing machine won’t spin for heavy and large clothes settle on one the side of drum. Because of throwing off the motion of the heavy duty washing machine. Some of new machine won’t reach high speed and excessive load of laundry. If you think so there is excess weight and there may be problems, then take down some heavyweight laundry and start spin cycle again.
Defective lid switch
When lid switch defected then washing machine won’t spin. This switch is actually inside the top or front loader both washing machine. The lid switch is in front of the washing machine main housing near the door frame. You must check to rise or open this washing machines top or front lid switch. If it’s defective then you must need to replace it.
Replace or adjust belt
If washer not spinning then you can check its belt. You need to check your washer belt is broken or not and still on the pulley. If belt is broken or not still on the pulley then you may need to replace it, otherwise washing machine won’t spin. Before buying to drive belt make sure your specific brand’s product and model. Because individual products have individual drive belt.
Maybe your washer motor coupler broken. Many whirlpool washers won’t spin only this motor coupler problem. Because of it manufactured washers use a small and inexpensive motor coupling. If excessive noise or vibrate and increased powers consumption then you think that the sign of motor coupler failure. Shaft Misalignment, lack of proper lubrication and incorrect coupling selection may cause of coupler broken. If you see these type coupler problems then buy a new coupler and replace it.
High efficiency detergent
Maybe you can’t realize it that most of washer require high efficiency detergent with low foaming action. Non-high efficiency detergent produces very high suds, that’s why your washing machine’s sensor can’t work properly. As a result, the washing machine won’t be able to spin at sufficient speed. So please don’t use low efficiency detergent for your washer. You can use organic laundry detergent for your washing machine.
Check your washer clutch. The clutch may be tied. Only one sign is your clutch is slipping and that is fell really hot after running within a few minutes. Once you sure this problem then you need to fix it. You need to replace it and probably want to hire a qualified appliance repair technician.
Kink in the hose
Remove the drain house from the back of your washer. Run a moderate to high water stream through it. Pull out the washer to look behind and check the hose is kink free. Push the machine back into the place and that you do not accidentally block the hose again. Or if you can’t do this then remember to hire a repair technician.
Blockage draining system
When blocking your draining system just check your drain hose at first. Then run the spin cycle on your washing machine. It will be every type of washers such as the front loader or top loader washing machine. Clean the washer pump. It’s usually in the back of top loader and below the door for front loader washing machine. Probably it will be white plastic. Clear everything from the front of the screen and wash gently with clean water. Then run the screen cycle again, hopefully, your washer should be drain quickly.
If your washing machine won’t spin then you have to check drive belt for over-hitting. But before check drive belt you need to verify pulley and motor glide operating properly and move freely. Please check oil or water leakage onto the belt or pulley area. Check for front load washer tub turn easily by hand.
